Help shape the future of children in our care C&K Kedron Childcare Centre is a unique centre that caters for up to 100 children across a number of learning spaces. We are housed in a purpose-built facility which accommodates children between the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years. We also offer a unique outdoor environment with large natural play spaces. Our Kedron centre reflects the C&K philosophy of inclusiveness and our spaces are designed to promote competence, independent exploration and nature-based play. We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Director / Educational Leader to join our team and assist in the management of our Centre. As the Assistant Director, you will be the right-hand person to our Director and help manage the day-to-day operations of our organisation. You'll have the opportunity to work with fantastic people, develop and implement exciting projects, and help shape the future of our organisation. With energy, creativity and care, you’ll lead a team of passionate people to deliver a quality educational program for children aged 0 to 5 years in our play-based learning environment. You’ll play an integral role in the overall operations and management of the centre to encourage and nurture children’s learning and development so they can become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners. You’ll help shape the future of children in our care by taking full ownership of the centre’s operation, documentation and program delivery while building great relationships with our families and the wider community. What you’ll bring To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have: Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification) or a Bachelor of Primary Teaching with an approved diploma-level qualification. First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification. Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (within three months or willing to obtain these).
