Business Development Manager - Central Wheatbelt WA (9020)

We're on the lookout for an experienced and proactive Business Development Manager with an Agronomy background to join our Commercial team. In this role, you'll be our 'face in the field' focused on creating demand for Nufarm's differentiated product portfolio within defined key account and locally important accounts in the region. This role will manage the Central Wheatbelt (Location within territory flexible) and requires regular travel. A tool of trade vehicle will be provided. Developing and executing against Territory Business Plans to deliver against Nufarm Commercial objectives Delivering against Key Account plans, Campaign plans, and Regional Business plans within the territory, with a focus on generating demand for products as defined by Nufarm as differentiated products Maintaining presence in the territory by building, owning and managing local relationships with channel customers, influencers and growers Assisting Marketing with the development of national campaigns by participating in the campaign council as needed to provide voice of the customer and frontline sales expertise to campaign development Ensuring compliance with relevant salesforce.com customer and market data through regular utilisation and updating of the platform What do you bring? You will ideally bring experience operating in a commercial or technical Agronomy role within a similar environment. You bring a passion for the Agricultural industry and a deep understanding of the crop segments in this region. Technical-minded and customer-focused, you bring excellent business acumen and the ability to communicate, negotiate, influence and develop constructive relationships with clients including channel partners and growers. You enjoy growing and developing constructive relationships with internal teams and customers alike, and you're results driven, collaborative and outcome oriented. Experience in using a CRM system (e.g. Salesforce.com) for customer data input, account management and analysis will be highly regarded.
