Business Development Manager

The Opportunity As a Business Development Manager you will lead a team of project managers, business development officers and property analysts to develop social housing opportunities in partnership with industry. You will identify, progress and develop business development proposals to increase the supply and diversity of social, affordable and specialised accommodation housing. Manage a range of complex projects, transactions, negotiations and contracts to enable and improve outcomes. Provide leadership within a highly creative, innovative and dynamic Directorate that strives to deliver excellence within the agency, and which focuses primarily on delivering commercial housing outcomes underpinned by sound social and economic investment. The role will require you to establish and maintain effective relationships with builders, developers, State government agencies, community housing providers, local government authorities, private industry and other relevant external stakeholders to promote streamlined delivery of residential housing in Western Australia while complying with relevant legislation, state government policies and procedures and industry best practice The attached Job Description Form (JDF) provides more information about the position.
