Position: Client Success Engineer (Senior Mining Engineer) Location: Flexible (with required travel to client sites in Australia, Africa, Chile, and Brazil) Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Mining Engineer to fulfill the role of Client Success Engineer within our global operations team. This role is crucial for consulting and aiding our clients in integrating our groundbreaking magnetic resonance bulk sensing and bulk sorting technologies into their mining operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with client teams across engineering, geology, operations, and metallurgy to reimagine and implement efficient mining processes. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary technical advisor for clients globally, ensuring the successful adoption and integration of MR technology in both existing operations and new projects. Define strategic visions for clients, showcasing the full potential of bulk ore sorting technologies and the substantial economic impacts achievable. Guide clients through the technical aspects of equipment design, implementation, validation, and commissioning phases. Provide ongoing support during the ramp-up and optimization stages to ensure that technology adoption leads to verifiable, optimized outcomes. Facilitate comprehensive change management processes with client teams to ensure technological and operational shifts are smoothly implemented. Deliver training and support materials to client teams, enabling them to achieve operational independence with the implemented technologies. Necessary Skills: Proven experience in mining engineering and geology, particularly on mine sites. Strong ability to articulate complex technical solutions clearly and convincingly. Demonstrated capability in numerical modelling and value calculation from technology applications. Proficiency in basic computer applications, with essential experience in 3D drafting and mine design and scheduling software. Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with technical, operational, and executive members of mining companies. Ability to manage projects involving diverse teams and geographically dispersed stakeholders. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related fields. Advanced degrees or certifications in mineral processing or project management would be advantageous. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in mining operations, including substantial direct exposure to both open cut and underground mining projects. Previous roles involving technology integration, process optimization, or consulting in the mining sector are highly desirable. Travel Requirements: This position requires up to 50% travel to client sites internationally, particularly to locations in Australia, Africa, Chile, and Brazil.
