Services Australia (the agency) is at the frontline of government service delivery, supporting millions of Australians to access health and social security payments and services. We need Communication Officers to deliver marketing and communication solutions that align to the strategic priorities of our agency and government. You'll be part of a team that believes in the power of inclusion, diversity of ideas and solving hard problems. Working as part of a team, you'll work on communication strategies and content designed around user needs. You'll collaborate with stakeholders and give best practice communication advice. You may also do research, event management and project management to meet business and communication objectives. You need to plan work by managing competing priorities. You'll work under the direction of senior staff, using initiative and judgement to deliver high quality outcomes. The key duties of the position include Assisting with designing, developing, implementing and evaluating content, communication strategies and products. Providing specialist advice and interpretation of communication processes, guidelines and policies. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to scope needs, resolve issues and achieve positive outcomes. Assisting with scheduling, coordination and publishing communication content.
