Finance Manager wanted for a leading Law Firm Your new company You will be working with one of Gold Coast's largest Law Firm. Your new role You will be reporting to Managing Partner performing Financial Management, payroll, banking, daily financials, trust accounting & compliance, controlled monies, accounts payable billing debtors. You will also have an Accounts Clerk reports to you. Some tasks include: Monthly firm overview reporting against budget Preparation of quarterly BAS and GST Preparation and payment of weekly payroll Monthly and annual payroll tax reconciliation Monthly and quarterly PAYG tax reconciliation Management of firm accounts Manage end of month reconciliation Supervise daily trust and general account reconciliations Issue client Trust Account statements as required Prepare and Manage annual Trust Account audit Manage the investment account - open the new accounts and receipt interest payments Supervise scanning and filing of investment account statements Liaise with practice area teams to manage debtors as required What you'll need to succeed Minimum 5 years' experience in a legal account/finance manager role Experience in Practice Evolve or similar legal software system Experience in legal professional services Qualifications in Accounting or Bookkeeping CA or CPA qualification would be advantageous Proficient in Excel/spreadsheets Reliable, responsible and experienced manager Excellent time management skills What you'll get in return You will have the opportunity to work with a reputable company who are one of the largest Law Firms on the Gold Coast.
