About the role We have multiple casual opportunities for experienced Hospitality Workers, which includes cleaning, kitchen duties and laundry to join our Terrace Gardens facility located in Palmerston, NT . These roles will be employed on a casual basis. Shifts will be ad hoc and allocated on a fort-nightly roster based on availability within the facility. Your role as a Hospitality Worker will see you providing a multi-faceted support across Housekeeping, Catering and Laundry which includes cleaning both within residents’ rooms and common areas, linen and personal laundry services as well as preparing and serving meals to our residents. This crucial role is a part of the facilities operational team and supports our residents to have a positive and safe lifestyle. This opportunity will suit a committed person who has care and compassion and enjoys interacting with our aged care residents. As the ideal candidate, you will be a proactive person with a caring nature. You will enjoy supporting the elderly and working in a busy environment. Skills & experience: To be considered for this role, you must submit a resume identifying the following skills and experience: Demonstrated experience in working in one or more of the core areas of a Hospitality worker – Cleaning, Laundry, or Kitchen support. Able to commit to casual ad hoc hours. Be well presented, organised, and committed to work. Ability to work in a fast-paced and time-sensitive workplace. Have a caring and supportive nature towards vulnerable people. Ability to manage and work within a culturally diverse team environment. An ability to undertake a range of manual handling functions related to the role.
