The opportunity Our client is seeking a motivated and safety-focused HR Driver to join the PUD Team at their River Road site in Burnie. As a HR driver, you will be required to perform multiple drops along an assigned route in a timely, efficient, and safe manner. You will have strong customer service skills and be physically fit to ensure you are able to cope with the manual handling required. This position requires a competent driver/operator with the ability to work efficiently without direct supervision whilst outside the depot. A sound knowledge of freight handling and transport is essential. Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. What you'll bring to this role To be successful in this role, you could have the following experience: Strong customer service focus. HR Licence Current forklift licence Ability to work flexible hours which includes weekends Sound knowledge of computer systems. Well-developed focus on safety within a logistics environment. Ability to work unsupervised. Full knowledge of federal and state road regulations including load restraint and fatigue management. Knowledge of Dangerous Goods code relating to transport.
