Your normal day will have you responsible for the set-up and operation of a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments; including: • Set-up and operate machines including lathes, mills, and grinders. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to produce accurate parts. • Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure their longevity. • Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure they meet design specifications. • Collaborate with other members of the production team to ensure on-time delivery of quality parts.
