Western Health is seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to work full-time (1.0 FTE) within the Paediatric Program of its Integrated Community Health Service in a new Paediatric Rapid Response Program. Working within a multidisciplinary team and alongside community paediatricians, you will be enabling young people and their families to achieve their goals and reach their potential. As part of the NDIS Rapid Access program you will be assessing children referred to the Paediatric service screened as potentially having moderate to severe developmental delay and likely to require NDIS ECEI referral. You will conduct initial triage assessments to determine which children are likely to need NDIS support, participate in Autism Spectrum Assessment Clinics, prepare reports in support of NDIS plans and assist families to navigate the NDIS system. Working with leaders in the community child and family space, you will be supported to progress your career with quality supervision and professional development opportunities.
