Occupational Therapist

Our client is growing rapidly in the NDIS sector and is now seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team. This is a great team, with a fantastic culture and a focus on the well-being of their team. On offer is a permanent part time role of 3 days per week initially, with the opportunity to build on days and hours if you wish to. Assessing participants’ functional capacity including physical and psychological abilities through clinical assessment. Using clinical skills and professional opinion to develop participant-centred goals specific to the client’s circumstances. Accessing clinical mentors and leaders to support your growth and knowledge. Provide best practice evidence-based support services that increase participants life skills and independence. Conducting assessments and providing recommendations to successfully adapt environments for participants, including the provision of assistive technology, supported independent living assessments, and Functional Capacity Assessments We are seeking a professional candidate that meets the following criteria: Qualified Occupational Therapist, (AHPRA registration) Minimum 1 year experience in delivering person-centred NDIS services would be highly regarded but not essential Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check & Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain) Current driver’s licence (vehicle use reimbursement is provided); Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills Strong organisational and time management skills Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving; Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude and a positive approach Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
