Administration Assistant (Part-time) About the Opportunity We are pleased to offer a new exciting part-time position for individuals interested in joining our Tait Asia Pacific Team as an experienced Administration Assistant at our Brisbane Office. This opportunity would suit a individual that would like to work 5 hours per day, 4 days a week. This role is primarily responsible for providing administrative support to the Region. You will be responsible for Reception, general administration, and OH&S. We are looking for an Administrator who can demonstrate integrity while providing prompt and exemplary customer service to all Tait employees and external vendors. This role reports to the HR Advisor/Office Manager. The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining the office's efficient operations and daily functions, actively contributing to the enhancement of company procedures. We encourage the Administrative Assistant to personalise the role, taking ownership of processes within the administrative function. Key functions of this role also includes: Providing a professional first point of contact for customers and visitors Administration of incoming and outgoing mail, including organising couriers Managing incoming calls, emails, enquiries, couriers, and administration of incoming/outgoing mail. Keeping office databases and systems up to date Processing purchase orders for supplies and office related costs Address employee queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, hardware and travel arrangements). Maintain the office(s) condition and arrange necessary repairs. Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services. Planning and coordinating administrative procedures and systems and devising ways to streamline processes. Maintain company calendar including scheduling meetings and organising events Supporting the development of H&S policies and programs and providing advice about local procedures . Organize OH&S training for the region, including emergency wardens and first aid. What You'll Bring : To be successful in this role you will need: A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office skills A Relevant qualification in business administration preferred but not essential At least 3 - 5 years relevant experience in a professional office environment and practical application of O&H procedures.
