The Reform Implementation Division supports the Government and department to lead reform of Australia's aged care system through the Government's response to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety (Royal Commission). The Division achieves this through: The development of evidence-based policy to support more sustainable ageing policy and an aged care system better tailored to the needs and expectations of older people. Oversight of the implementation of the reform agenda in line with Government commitments. Leading ICT strategy and business assurance activities to achieve aged care digital business outcomes. Effective internal and external governance structures. Communication, stakeholder engagement and change management to support transformational change in the sector and, Delivery of My Aged Care, the Australian Government's official source of information for older people and their families about the aged care system. The key duties of the position include Provide strategic support to deliver key tasks and provide support for SES and Minister's Offices. Ensure alignment of project options and contracts with broader aged care system reforms. Identify and consider project, program and regulatory issues and risks to inform governance advice and briefings, and contract management. Work across the Ageing and Aged Care Group and with other key stakeholders to develop analysis, reports and briefing products for Ministers and senior executives on a range of aged care system reforms. Prioritise competing objectives and negotiate strongly with others to ensure high quality work is produced. Manage internal and external relationships with key stakeholders to deliver objectives. Work collaboratively with other team members to progress divisional outcomes.
