With a market share of 80% in South East Qld and beyond, they are continuing to go through a strategic growth phase throughout all states of Australia and into NZ. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this newly created opportunity will support the production, logistics, and purchasing teams in effectively planning and scheduling of production. This individual will be responsible for ensuring stock levels and plans are maintained to support service and order commitments to their customers. We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic individual, who has demonstrated experience in a similar role, within a busy manufacturing environment. Develop production plans to reduce/balance production constraints around materials, machinery, or labour. Identify excesses or shortfalls in raw materials and manage production plans where appropriate. Identify root causes and corrective actions for major deviations in the plan and any impacts to DIFOT or wastage KPIs. Inform management of any changes to production schedules. Maintain optimal stock levels by SKU for respective production lines. Prepare daily, weekly & monthly reporting for management. Review supplier agreements for spend/demand & cost saving projects. Assist warehouse with stock takes and inventory management and manage stock coding and pricing. Skills and Experience: Minimum of 3 years Production Planning experience, within a manufacturing or production environment Ability to provide meaningful production reports Team-oriented, with the ability to work autonomously Possess a high level of problem-solving and analytical ability Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines Sound understanding of OH&S processes Strong communication skills, both verbal and written High level of computer skills, with a knowledge of MYOB Exo an advantage.
