The Opportunity: We're seeking experienced Project Engineers to join us at Fulton Hogan based in the Auckland Region. This application will be recruiting for all scopes of work within Auckland. Major Projects | Minor Safety Projects | Maintenance | Pavement Rehabilitation works. Project Scope can include: Delivery for improvements on water and wastewater infrastructure projects (Water Enterprise Model) for our region but not limited to other scopes of work within the Auckland Airport Precinct, Puketutu Island, Brigham Creek - road widening, plus other key forward work we have current and ahead. Other Projects from our Minor Safety Team/Maintenance can include: Implementing minor road /safety improvements, intersections, town centre safety upgrades, busways, footpaths, pavement & road rehab, improved crossing points plus more. (knowledge of Local GOVT roading works would be ideal). What the role could look like: Prepare quality control documentation such as ITP's to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications Ensure site crews, sub-contractors and plant are managed through good planning and effective communication and coordination Ensure that Environmental risks are identified and follow documented processes. Perform audits and checks for site compliance with Safety, Environmental & Quality management plans. Collate field records and input data for accurate daily productivity and monthly forecasting costings Handle all technical queries, maintain site diary Complete site inductions and conduct toolbox talks Report incidents, non-conformances, and near misses Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will thrive and develop alongside our great teams in a high pace environment facing many logistically and technical challenges What you will bring to the table Hold a Civil Engineering Degree equivalent to (NZQF Level 7), ideally internationally accredited. (Washington Accord) Have 5 years' experience in project delivery across mid to large-scale roading projects in the Civil/Construction sector. Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to both priorities and problem solve, while managing stakeholder interests will set you up for success in this role.
