About the role: Warrina Home is located within Anglicare’s extensive Castle Hill Village precinct. Set in the peaceful and leafy Hills District, Warrina Home is home to a community of 128 residents. Anglicare - Warrina Residential Care Home has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the team on a permanent part-time basis. Reporting to the Care Manager and working within an experienced clinical team, you will provide quality care to our residents. You will ensure the physical comfort and emotional health of our residents are met in a caring and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with compassion for aged care and available to work on casual basis. Key responsibilities (not limited to): • Day to day clinical care needs of our residents • Leadership, mentoring and support of the Care team in day to day activities for residents • Support the Residential Manager/Care Manager to fulfil the objectives they have for the effective and efficient management of the facility • Compliance with WHS legislation and Policy and Procedures • Participate in continuous improvement processes and systems. Skills, knowledge and experience needed: • Current nursing registration with AHPRA • Minimum 24 months experience as a Registered Nurse • Previous aged care experience highly regarded • Excellent interpersonal skills • Proven competence in appropriate documentation (including care planning) • Proven competence in medication management and administration • Ability to support and promote the Mission and Values of Anglicare If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of the elderly, we’d love to hear from you.
