Our Hotel The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Sydney is a Heritage-listed 364 room, five-star classic hotel located between Sydney's best shopping precinct and the Sydney Opera House. The Role Our Reservations team is responsible for the first impression of our hotel and they are committed to ensuring that first contact with our guests is professional, warm and friendly. Working within a small, busy team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing guest and group reservations. Your natural charm will ensure that all contact with the guests is professional and courteous and your ‘Yes I Can’ attitude shines through. About You This role requires an individual with attention to detail, as your day-to-day will mainly entail managing entering and amending all guest reservations accurately and efficiently. If you have strong customer service/ call centre skills with a proven track record of attention to detail in a similar position that is non-hotel related, you are welcome to apply. To be successful in the role you will require: • Strong working knowledge of Opera, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook will be viewed favourably • Previous experience in Reservations or a call centre environment prefered • A positive ‘Yes I Can’ attitude • Fluent written and spoken English • You will generally work during office hours from Monday – Friday, however you will occasionally be required to work on Saturdays Pay Rates Our rates are as per the Hospitality Industry General Award.
