We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Robotic Welder Team Leader to join our friendly and inclusive fabrication team at our facility in Scoresby. Additional responsibilities include:• Assist Engineers in developing and implementing jigs and fixtures. • Aid in scoping improvement projects by analysing inefficiencies in the welding process and prioritising welded assemblies to be welded on robots. • Liaise with production staff in order to gather information and implement solutions to manufacturing issues. • Assist in factory supervision and other projects as required. • Investigating shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes. • Training, mentoring, and guiding team members in new processes. • Staying up to date with developments in management and process optimisation. • A trade qualification would be advantageous What we’re looking for:• A good understanding of OH&S and reporting systems. • Discover training needs and provide training. • Passionate about delivering exceptional precision and efficiency in robotic welding Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor. • Experience using ABB Manual Guide controller operation and programming. • Experience using Robot Studio. • Experience using Virbotics. • Experience with steel fabrication and welding. • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate.
