PRA are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to work for one of Melbourne's most well respected and forward thinking financial service companies We are partnering with a company that is one of Melbourne’s top financial services software companies, and security is at the forefront of everything they do They are currently looking for a Security Engineer. In this role, you will work alongside the technology teams to implement your ideas and guidance on cybersecurity practices which will impact the whole business. This position is responsible for the security and integrity of the organisation's technology infrastructure services across all platforms, including On-prem environment, cloud, SIEM and endpoints. As the Security Engineer the main focus of this role is to maintain a vigilant approach to ensuring the protection of systems and data whilst managing and owning various security platforms and products ensuring controls are maintained and effective monitoring outputs of controls and investigating indicators of compromise. Responsible for the following services (not limited to): Responsible, Maintain, and Delegate Incidents in Azure Sentinel Perform root cause analysis of recurring security incidents and apply correct problem management to resolve permanently Provide monthly reporting on security status and incidents Security Incident and Monitoring Threat Hunting and Vulnerability Management. Establish, communicate, and maintain information security policies, and verify that processes and procedures are performed in an acceptable manner.
