The role seeks a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing Data Engineering team in the Data & Enterprise Technology Area. This position involves guiding the technical direction for software engineering development within Corporate Platforms - People & Culture, focusing on strategic projects. Leveraging the latest technology, the engineer will establish best practices and inspire a passionate development team. Responsibilities include driving the team vision, collaborating with peers to deliver the technical roadmap, ensuring high-quality, robust, and secure development standards, and enhancing software and data services capability. The role encourages a passion for delivering quality software and welcomes fresh ideas to continually improve work processes. What You'll Do Drive technical direction for software engineering development within Data & Enterprise Technology Collaborate with Software Engineers to deliver the technical roadmap, ensuring high-quality, robust, and secure development standards Prioritize and drive automation in delivery, embedding a DevOps mindset and practices within the team Foster a safe, innovative, and results-driven culture, identifying technical improvements for business benefit Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the analysis of business specifications and solutions Perform unit and integration testing on developed code, challenging the team on quality and unit test coverage What You'll Bring: Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline (Desired) or equivalent experience AWS Certification (Desired) Highly proficient in delivering value using Agile and DevOps methodologies. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
