Our client is a multi-discipline consultancy with a long-standing history within the industry. With over 50 employees, they specialise in low to high rise buildings within the industrial, commercial, residential and healthcare sector. Due to recent project winnings and continued growth within the Structural division, they require a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team. ABOUT THE POSITION. This role is suitable for an experienced structural engineer looking to move into a Senior role. You will join an experienced team of engineers and drafters in designing the structural concrete, steel, masonry, timber and PT elements of various projects. In addition, you will conduct site inspections when needed, liaise with clients and prepare technical reports. DUTIES. Design of structural steel, masonry, timber reinforced and post-tension concrete Conduct site inspections Technical report writing Liaise with clients and other stakeholders Project Management Mentor junior engineers SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. Related engineering qualifications 5 years domestic experience as a structural engineer Excellent communication skills Must have experience and a strong understanding of Australian BCA codes and standards CULTURE.
